Reviewer Workspace

The Reviewer Workspace is where compliance reviewers perform their work — reviewing documents, validating evidence, signing attestations, and building audit packages.

Reviewer Types

AlignSure supports specialized reviewer roles, each with domain-specific workflows:

Workflow

Document Arrives → Reviewer Queue → Review & Annotate → Decision → Evidence Archive

At each step:

• The reviewer’s Microsoft identity is recorded
• All annotations are timestamped and immutable
• Approval, rejection, or escalation decisions are logged
• Evidence is automatically archived to the compliance record

Review Actions

Reviewers can:

• Approve — Confirm the document meets compliance requirements
• Reject — Return with specific findings that must be addressed
• Annotate — Add notes, highlight issues, or reference regulatory requirements
• Escalate — Route to a different reviewer or to the Owner for decision
• Request revision — Send back to the contributor with specific change requests

Evidence Lineage

Every document in the Reviewer Workspace maintains a complete lineage:

• Original author and upload timestamp
• AI analysis results and accuracy score
• Each reviewer action with identity and timestamp
• Version history with before/after states
• Final approval or rejection with the signing reviewer’s identity

This lineage is included in all evidence exports and audit packages.
