Microsoft 365 Integration Overview
AlignSure is designed as a Microsoft-native platform. It authenticates through your Entra ID tenant, communicates through Teams, and integrates with Outlook and SharePoint for document workflows.
Integration Points

What AlignSure Reads
Section titled “What AlignSure Reads”AlignSure reads the following from your Microsoft 365 tenant:
- User directory — Names, email addresses, job titles, department assignments
- Organizational structure — Reporting relationships and group memberships
- Calendar data — For compliance deadline synchronization (read-only)
What AlignSure Does Not Do
Section titled “What AlignSure Does Not Do”- Does not store Microsoft passwords
- Does not write data back to your Microsoft tenant
- Does not access email content, Teams messages, or file contents without explicit user action
- Does not modify your Entra ID directory or security policies
Deployment Model
Section titled “Deployment Model”AlignSure operates as a registered enterprise application in your Entra ID tenant. This means:
- IT administrators maintain full control over the application’s permissions
- The application can be revoked at any time through the Azure portal
- All access is governed by your organization’s Conditional Access policies
- Multi-factor authentication requirements are respected
