Quick Start Guide

AlignSure deploys in four steps. No client software to install, no data migration, no new passwords for your team.

  1. Connect your Microsoft 365 tenant

An organization administrator authorizes AlignSure in your Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) tenant. This establishes single sign-on for all users. AlignSure respects your existing MFA and Conditional Access policies.

    • Navigate to Settings → Microsoft 365 Connection
    • Sign in with a Global Administrator or Application Administrator account
    • Review and approve the requested permissions (User.Read, Directory.Read.All)
    • Connection completes in under two minutes
  2. Configure compliance frameworks

Select the regulatory frameworks that apply to your organization. AlignSure includes pre-built templates for:

    • HIPAA & HITECH — Privacy Rule, Security Rule, Breach Notification
    • Workers’ Compensation — FROI documentation, EMR tracking
    • Certificate of Insurance — Coverage verification, exclusion flagging
    • ADA — Essential duties validation, accommodation documentation
    • OSHA — Injury reporting, 300 Log documentation

For each framework, define evidence requirements, collection cadences, and escalation thresholds.

  3. Assign reviewer roles

Map your compliance responsibilities to AlignSure’s role architecture:

    • Owners — Accountable for compliance outcomes in their domain
    • Reviewers — Subject matter experts who validate evidence (attorneys, safety advisors, insurance advisors, medical providers)
    • Contributors — Staff who submit documentation and respond to validation requests

Roles are tied to Microsoft Entra ID accounts. No separate credentials.

  4. Begin validation

Once connected and configured, your team can begin using AlignSure:

    • Upload documents for AI-assisted review
    • Generate compliance calendar entries
    • Run job role validation against selected frameworks
    • Build evidence packages for upcoming audits or renewals

When you authorize AlignSure, the following occurs:

  • AlignSure registers as an enterprise application in your Entra ID tenant
  • User authentication flows through OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect
  • No passwords are stored in AlignSure — authentication is delegated entirely to Microsoft
  • AlignSure reads directory information (names, email addresses, department, job title) to populate the role mapping interface
  • No data is written back to your Microsoft tenant

Most organizations complete setup in a single session:
