User Management

Users are imported from your Microsoft Entra ID directory. AlignSure reads:

  • Display name
  • Email address
  • Job title
  • Department

No manual user creation is required. When a new employee is added to your Entra ID directory, they can sign in to AlignSure at next authentication.

After a user signs in for the first time, an Administrator assigns their role and compliance domain. Group-based assignment automates this for organizations with defined Entra ID security groups.

When a user is removed from Entra ID (or their account is disabled), they immediately lose access to AlignSure. No separate deactivation is needed.

Their historical actions (reviews, attestations, submissions) remain in the audit trail for compliance record-keeping.

For organizations with many users, AlignSure supports:

  • Group-based role mapping (Entra ID group → AlignSure role)
  • CSV import for initial role configuration
  • Bulk role changes through the admin interface
